• In addition to academic subjects, Art, Music, Home Economics, and Technology are also offered.
  • Students may begin sequences in foreign languages (French and Spanish).
  • Algebra is offered to students interested in accreditation in the  math or science fields.
  • On-going career awareness program utilizes community resources such as Project Business and guest speakers from the business community. An annual Career Fair is held each spring for all students in Grades 6-8.
  • Upon request, conferences are held between parents and all members of the teaching staff responsible for the child's instruction. Teachers work closely consulting about individual children's needs.
  • Extra-curricular activities include:
                    Student Government
                    Interscholastic modified sports for boys and girls
                    Full music program: Orchestra, Band, Jazz Ensembles,   
                    and Chorus
                    After-School Study Club for each grade level

  • Updated computer labs are used in most curriculum areas.

  • AVP (Alternatives to Violence Program) is offered to all Middle School students.
  • A wide range of services and programs is available to students with special needs.
  • Regularly scheduled Activity Fun Nights are provided for all students and teachers.
  • Grade level teachers  meet for teaming daily.
  • Grade level advisor groups meet daily.
  • Extra help classes meet every other day.
